Today I said to my cat Felix, the shy one
America!
He got under the chair, fast.
America did everything!
The desk chair, with its protective rungs:
America invented the airplane! America invented the car! America won World War Two!
he likes to be under pieces of furniture, mainly.
Now we’re nothing! Laughing stocks! Idiots!
I’m telling him like he doesn’t already know.
