Instead, An American Hero. The CIA dead in action over the years seem a bit sparse on the ground. Not too many stars on that plaque in the lobby, plenty of space for poor Mike Spann a-waiting. Odd, when you consider the trailerloads who buy it every year in action entertainment, where they�re like bowling pins in suits.
Followed by Mopping Up Mazar. A strolling warlord, sheathed in victory, swarmed by sycophants; teams of lesser men, turbans wrapped across their mouths, hoisting stretchers in a grisly caravan. I declare myself "troubled" by this new national aspiration to leave a pile of corpses everywhere we choose to go�this oath of blood. If someone came and killed all our bad guys, would we be good then too?
